This region is home to many great golf courses and hotels which ensure that all your golf breaks needs are catered for. Many of the golf resorts also offer additional leisure facilities including spa, gyms and swimming pools to help you unwind after a challenging day on the golf course; and boast excellent restaurants and bars where you can recount the day’s events. There are some fine four-star venues in the East Midlands that provide great golf in wonderful surroundings. Towards the south there is the five star venue of Stapleford Park, designed by the famous golf course architect Donald Steel. The East Midlands could also be the place to look for an all-round break, with venues such as Belton Woods offering a wide range of activities in addition to two championship courses.
