Villa La Costaglia

At the foot of Montalbano, 18 km from Florence and 25 km from Vinci, in the heart of the antique Medicean hunting reserve known as the "Barco Reale", of which 3 beautiful Medicean Villas still remain ( Poggio a Caiano, Artimino and La Magia at Quarrata), you will find Villa La Costaglia, in the center of 3 hectares of century-old park lands, surrounded by a farming area that produces wine and olive oil. Built at the beginning of the 1600's by the Lenzoni de'Medici family who are still the present-day owners, it has remained unaltered until today. The villa rises up in the center of the park on the perimeter of the farm and is now restructured into comfortable apartments open all year round, with a swimming pool and tennis court available for the guests. Apart from the hospitality offered in the apartments it is also possible to organize receptions, congresses, weddings etc. in the salons which hold 50, 100 and 150 people, or outdoors in the splendid courtyard of the Villa in summer. APARTMENT 3 (Sleeps 4+2): First floor: spacious living/dining room, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom. APARTMENT 4 (Sleeps 4): First floor: Double bedroom. Second floor: Dining room, kitchen area, mezzanines, spacious bedroom with 2 single beds and access to terrace, shower/WC, spacious terrace, barbeque. APARTMENT 5 (sleeps 6+1): First floor: Spacious living/dining room, kitchen area, 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 matrimonial), shower/WC. Second floor: bedroom with 3 single beds in mezzanine over living room, shower/WC. APARTMENT 6 (Sleeps 4): Entrance hall, living/dining room, fireplace, small kitchen, washing machine, access to glassed-in veranda and terrace, barbeque, 2 double bedrooms (1 adaptable as matrimonial), shower/WC. APARTMENT 7 (Sleeps 4):First floor: Small entrance hall, double bedroom, spiral staircase leading to second floor.
