The property was built by the Kabbaj family at the end of the XIXth century but fell into multi-occupancy and decadence in the 1960s after the death of its owner. It has been renovated mixing the European style and Andalusian art-deco by Mme Nicole Arbousset with utmost respect for its architectural integrity and furnished with Moroccan rugs and artefacts as well as art-deco style furniture and ornament. Due to its originality and its authenticity, it is the absolute and ultimate refuge for lovers and honeymooners. The style of Marrakech awaits you in the sumptuous salon with 30s décor, beside the fireplace, or at the edge of the swimming pool or the lily pond. In the morning a Moroccan breakfast will be served on the open patios, on the terraces, under the colonnades or in the dining room, wherever you like. You can visit the historic sights on foot, the famous Jemaa el Fna, the Koutoubia mosque, the Bahia and Badi palaces, the Ben Youssef religious college, the museums and souks of Marrakech and its myriad restaurants. You will find 2 suites, 5 air conditioned bedrooms and with differing decoration and tadlakt-walled private bathrooms. Once you enter the gates, the hubbub of the medina gives way to a green garden, an oasis of serenity disturbed only by birdsong and the whispering of the fountains. After your visits you can return to the calm again, where you can forget the tiredness and dust of the city, have a massage, experience the coolness of the spa or just sit and listen to the birdsong. Lunches and dinners can be served around the pool, in the salons or on the terraces. You can try gastronomic menus from Fez, the culinary capital of Morocco, as well as flavours from round the world.
